My old climbing bro's brand new daughter entered the world today, and I celebrated by going climbing with my other old climbing bro.
I actually did a lot better than I thought I would: turns out hauling around a 25 pound kid keeps your arms in shape. And, of course, the technique remains even if everything else (hand/foot strength) has disappeared.
I came home in such a good mood that I'm going to try to repeat it next week. It would be pretty awesome if I could get back to climbing, even if only once a week.
