Return to Pern

My mom and I have been indulging in our Mother Daughter Book ReRead Club that we do every so often, and this time around we're going back to Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern series, but with an eye to craft rather than (just) story.  It's been really interesting, especially since I haven't read most of the books in about twenty years.  I have a very different understanding of it, these days.

But that's not the point of this entry.  The point of this entry is that I doodled a dragon!

It's a marked improvement over my early attempts, that's for sure.
