A Portrait

The likeness is not what I'd like it to be, but that's the problem with working from photographs- you don't have a chance to capture that "spark" of a face in motion.
She is prettier than this, honest.
Still, it could be worse... and hopefully I'll get a chance to make it better in the near future.

      It's not that so much as I inadvertently drew her eyes two different sizes (and screwed up the lid on her right eye). Sometimes we artists have to sleep on our work to better understand what we did wrong...
